Officers
Dr. Barbara L. Mousel
Chair
Dr. Barbara Mousel has been an active member of the Chicago Dental Society since starting dental practice more than two decades ago. She is a past director of the society's Board of Directors and has also served on several committees. She is active within the Illinois State Dental Society, which honored her with the President's Award in 2007, and is also the Illinois section chair for the American College of Dentists and an Illinois Board of Dentistry Member. The American Association of Women Dentists recognized her with the Lucy Hobbs Taylor Award and twice honored her with the President's Award. She practices in Chicago.
Dr. George R. Zehak
Vice Chair
Dr. George Zehak is past president of the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry, a trustee of the Illinois State Dental Society and general chair for the 2009 ISDS Capital Conference. He is also the current treasurer of the Illinois section of the American College of Dentists. An involved member of the Chicago Dental Society, he is a past director of the CDS Board of Directors and general chair of the 2010 Midwinter Meeting. He has also served on several of the society's committees. Dr. Zehak practices in Berwyn and is on the staff of Mercy Hospital. He lives in Oak Brook with his wife, Maria. They have three children, David, Natalie and Connor.
Randall B. Grove

Mr. Randall Grove is the executive director of the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Jeffrey C. Socher
Assistant Secretary
Dr. Jeffrey Socher is a past president of the Chicago Dental Society and a past trustee for the Illinois State Dental Society's Paul W. Clopper Memorial Foundation, where he served as chair for seven years. In addition to his involvement with CDS, Dr. Socher is also active within the American Dental Association, where he has served on the Council on Scientific Affairs and the Council on Annual Sessions. He has served on many committees for the Illinois State Dental Society, and ISDS honored him with the Distinguished Dentist of the Year Award in 2002. In 2008, he was honored with the Thaddeus Weclew Award from the International College of Dentists and Academy of General Dentistry. He served for two years as a dentist in the U.S. Navy. For more than forty years, he has practiced general dentistry in Arlington Heights, where also resides with his wife, Christine.
Dr. Kenneth W. Bueltmann
Treasurer
Dr. Kenneth Bueltmann has served in several leadership positions within organized dentistry, including past president to the Illinois Society of Periodontists, the Midwest Society of Periodontists, the Chicago Dental Society's North Suburban Branch, and the American Academy of Periodontology. The latter group honored Dr. Bueltmann with its Presidential Service Award. A periodontist with 30 years of experience, Dr. Bueltmann practices in Glenview. He resides in Wilmette with his wife, Mary Kay. They have two sons, Michael and Thomas.
Dr. Terri S. Tiersky
Chair, Major Gifts Committee
Dr. Terri Tiersky is a past director to the Chicago Dental Society's Board of Directors and the 2011 general chair of the Midwinter Meeting. She serves on several CDS committees and is active in the society's North Side Branch. In addition to her commitments with CDS, she is also an active member of the Illinois State Dental Society, serving on the Board of Trustees. She is on the Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs for the American Dental Association, and is a fellow with the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists. She is a board member of the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Dr. Tiersky earned her dental degree from Loyola University's Dental School and her JD from John Marshall Law School. She practices in Chicago, and lives in Highland Park with her husband, Roland Davidson, and their daughter, Devin.

Mildred Goldstein
Ms. Mildred Goldstein is the president of Harry J. Bosworth Company, a Skokie-based manufacturer of dental materials. She has held that position since 1992. Ms. Goldstein is a past chair of the American Dental Trade Association and past president of the International Dental Manufacturers. She is vice president of the Academy of Dentistry International Foundation, a board member for Oral Health America, and a member of the American Dental Assistants Association Foundation. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and earned her MBA from Indiana University. She and her husband, Herb Pozen, enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing and bicycling.
Dr. Mary J. Hayes
Dr. Mary Hayes is a past president of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and longtime active member of the Chicago Dental Society, where she has been both a member and chair of the Communications Committee. She is a liaison to Tuesday's Child Board and a consultant to the Head Start programs of the Chicago Public Schools and the Ounce of Prevention Fund. The Chicago Dental Society has honored her commitment to advancing public understanding of dentistry with the Cushing Award and the American Association of Women Dentists recognized her with the Lucy Hobbs Taylor Award. Dr. Hayes has a pediatric dental practice in downtown Chicago.
Dr. Richard Holba
Dr. Richard Holba is the Treasurer of the Chicago Dental Society and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. A general dentist, he practices in Orland Park and resides in Frankfort with his wife, Kathy, and their children, Paul, Janice, John and James.
Dr. James D. Robinson
Dr. James Robinson is a member of the CDS Board of Directors and a graduate of the College of Dentistry at the University of Illinois. He is a member of the Odontographic Society of Chicago, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Robinson practices in downtown Chicago and resides in Buffalo Grove with his wife, Carol. They have three children.
Dr. Mary A. Starsiak
Dr. Mary Starsiak is a former director of the Northwest Side Branch of the Chicago Dental Society's Board of Directors. She has served on the society's Access to Care, Grants and Donations and Finance committees. She is on the Council of Communication for the American Dental Association and serves on the Public Relations Committee and as the general chair of the 2009 Annual Session for the Illinois State Dental Society. She is also secretary of the Odontographic Society of Chicago and director of the Dental Arts Club. She is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a member of the Resurrection Healthcare Foundation Board and was chair of St. Mary's and Elizabeth Medical Center Renaissance Council. She is a member of the Portage Park Chamber of Commerce and Donated Dental Services. Dr. Starsiak comes from a family of dentists: her father, Dr. William Starsiak, Sr., was a general dentist and member of CDS for 55 years. Her brother, Dr. William Starsiak, Jr., is an oral surgeon on active duty with the U.S. Navy. Dr. Mary Starsiak practices on the northwest side of Chicago.
Dr. Donald Tuck
Dr. Donald Tuck is the West Side Branch Director of the society's Board of Directors and has served on several of the society's committees. He is a graduate ofthe University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Dr. Tuck practices in Downers Grove, where he lives with his wife, Lynne. They have four children, Jennifer, Amanda, Katherine and Melissa.
Carolyn Van Eck
Ms. Carolyn Van Eck is the chief financial officer and vice president of finance and legal affairs for GC America Inc., a manufacturer of dental materials. She is President of GC Advanced Technologies, Inc, and past president of the Dental Manufacturers of America. Ms. Van Eck is also currently the chair of the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and resides in Orland Park with her husband, Jim, and daughter, Caryn. They enjoy boating and traveling,
